I built impulsesv's villager breeder (without the farmer so i just manually feed them) and it worked in 1.15.2.

I've afk'd over night, using impulsesv's villager breeder design, and came back to see that not a single baby villager was made. It is difficult to do this through kidnapping villagers alone, so having an artificial breeder can be very helpful. Their texture will change depending on their profession and the biome the village is located in.
To breed, you first need to find a village that has villagers in it.
I still believe the whole point of the village and pillage update was to remove all the exploits for villagers and force players to actually build a proper village with fully.
